Arielle Caroline Kebbel (born February 19, 1985 in Winter Park , Florida ) is an American actress and model .

life and career

Kebbel was born in Florida, where she lived until she was 18. Together with her mother Sheril, she made the firm decision to enter the film business, after which they moved to Los Angeles in 2004 . Just three days later, she was signed to the Gilmore Girls series . Kebbel has an older sister named Julia and a younger brother named Christian.

Kebbel got her first role in The Bros. (2002) alongside Ludacris and Shaquille O'Neal . She was also voted Miss Florida Teen that year. Winning this election enabled her to take further steps in the film and modeling business .

Kebbel then had some well-known guest appearances in series such as For All Cases Amy (2003), No Mercy for Dad (2004), Law & Order (2004), Shark (2006) or CSI: Miami . But she secured most of the attention during this time through the recurring role of Lindsay Lister Forrester as Dean Forrester's new love and wife in Gilmore Girls .

In 2005 she was in Be Cool - Everyone's Looking for the Next Big Hit , Reeker , Dirty Deeds , The Kid & I and featured in the fourth part of the American Pie series American Pie: The Next Generation .

In 2006 she starred in the films Aquamarine - Die vernixte first Liebe , Rache ist Sexy , Der Fluch - The Grudge 2 and Outlaw Trail . That same year, filming of the film Daydreamer , directed by Braham Turner , was completed.

Beginning in 2009 and from 2011 to 2014, she was a recurring character in the US television series Vampire Diaries as Alexia "Lexi" Branson.

Personal

Kebbel has been in a relationship with Braham Turner since 2004 and lives with him in Beverly Hills .
