Midnight, Texas is an American television series . The series, which, like True Blood, is based on books by Charlaine Harris , consists of 19 episodes in two seasons. On December 21, 2018, NBC announced that it would end the series after the second season.
In German-speaking countries, the first broadcast took place on January 31, 2019 on Syfy .

On the run from his past, the young clairvoyant Manfred Bernardo is haunted by the ghost of his grandmother, who tells him to seek refuge in Midnight, Texas. There he will find a community full of different characters who can help him - including a vampire, a witch, a fallen angel, a demon and a shapeshifter. Midnight faces numerous threats from the outside world when the newcomer enters the community.
