Matthias Ransberger

Matthias Ransberger (* 1981 in Munich ) is a German actor in the stage and film sector.

Career

Matthias Ransberger grew up in Unterhaching and Fischbachau. Before starting his acting studies at the HFF Potsdam in April 2005, he completed an apprenticeship as a reinsurance trader in Munich . He was also a saxophonist in the Munich Latin jazz band “ Los Chicos del Valle ” and a member of the “Feuerstuhl” juggling group. Even before successfully completing his studies, he made his debut as Ferdinand in William Shakespeare's Der Sturm at the Hans-Otto-Theater Potsdam .

Since then, various film, television and theater productions have followed: at the Wunsiedler Luisenburg Festival in 2009 and 2010, a. a. as “Simmerl” in the popular folk play Der Brandner Kaspar and eternal life on stage. From 2009 to 2010 he played as a permanent member of the ensemble at Theater Altenburg-Gera z. B. Prince Friedrich von Homburg in Heinrich von Kleist 's drama of the same name, later as a guest a. a. the “Marc” in Anne Habermehl's Scar Area , 2011 invited to the German Author Theater Days at the Deutsches Theater Berlin .

Since autumn 2010 he can also be seen in various film and television productions, e.g. B. as "Willi" in Markus Goller's movie comedy A very hot number .

Today he lives as a freelance actor in Munich.
