Matthias Zirzow

Matthias Zirzow (born July 17, 1969 in Berlin ) is a German author and film director .

Life

Zirzow grew up in Berlin. After completing his studies in history and German studies, he worked in the field of film and television, initially as an assistant director and editor .

Since 2007 he has worked as a director for film and television series, music videos and commercials. For the children's channel KiKA he shot 37 episodes of the well-known series Schloss Einstein .

In 2015, Zirzow designed the eight-part children's series War and Me .
