Sarah Emily Ramos (born May 24, 1991 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress , best known for her role as Haddie Braverman in the television series Parenthood .

life and career

Ramos was born in Los Angeles to a Filipino father and a Jewish mother. She graduated from Columbia University in 2015.

Her career began mostly as a contributor to commercials. She got her first role in a main cast on the NBC television series American Dreams , which ran from 2002 to 2005. She was then cast for a role in The CW series Runaway , which was short-lived. She had guest roles in series such as Scrubs , Close to Home , Ghost Whisperer , Law & Order , Wizards of Waverly Place , Without a Trace and Lie to Me . She was then cast as Haddie Braverman in the television series Parenthood , where she held this role as the main role until the 4th season; after that she continued to be seen as a guest actress. In 2016 she was re-cast for a role in the series Midnight, Texas at NBC, which she also only held for the time of the first season.
