Nestor Gaston Carbonell (born December 1, 1967 in New York City , New York ) is an American actor , voice actor and director .

Life

Nestor Carbonell was best known for his role as Luis Rivera on the sitcom Susan . For this role he received in 1998 and 1999 an ALMA Award in the category Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series (Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series) . He was also in Scrubs as Dr. Ramirez, Dr. House , Strong Medicine: Two Doctors like Fire and Ice and Lost as Richard Alpert. In 2007 he played a leading role in the American television series Cane . As a voice actor, for example, he worked for Kim Possiblewhere he spoke to the Señor Senior Jr. From September 2011 to May 2012 he was seen as Victor Machado in The CW series Ringer .

Carbonell has been married to actress Shannon Kenny since January 3, 2001 , whom he met while filming the 2000 film Attention Shoppers , which he wrote and produced . The two have two sons together.
