Kuno Haemisegger

Kuno Hämisegger (born March 29, 1956 in Wyssachen , Canton of Bern , † end of December 2018 ) was a Swiss lobbyist and economist . Growing up in Solothurn , he last lived in Oberwil in the canton of Basel-Landschaft .

Hämisegger was one of the founders and treasurer of the Swiss Public Affairs Society (SPAG) and, as its delegate, a member of the Swiss Bankers Association . Before that, he worked as an economic advisor to former Federal Councilor Jean-Pascal Delamuraz and as chief economist in the Federal Department of Economic Affairs (FDEA).

In addition, Hämisegger was President of the Basel Knabenkantorei from 2003 to 2010 . He was a founding member and, since 2017, Vice President of Männer.ch , the umbrella organization for Swiss men's and father's organizations.
