Instant Mom is an American sitcom series , which since 29 September 2013, the evening block Nick at Nite radio station Nickelodeon will air. On November 22, 2013, the series was extended by a second season with 20 episodes. The German premiere of the series began as part of the nicknight program block on January 10, 2015. In autumn 2015, the series ended after three seasons.

When party girl Stephanie Phillips marries older single father Charlie, she has to radically change her lifestyle. Because Charlie brings the three children Gabby, James and Aaron into the marriage and Stephanie is suddenly a full-time stepmother. With the help of her mother Maggie, she slowly learns to manage her new job.

On April 3, 2013, Nickelodeon officially announced the production of a 13 episode first season of the sitcom Instant Mom for the NickMom program block . The first season was later increased to a total of 26 episodes. The episodes have aired on Nick at Nite since September 29, 2013 and are repeated on NickMom that same night . On November 22, the series was extended by a second season with 20 episodes.

Even before the second season was broadcast, Nickelodeon gave the green light for a third season with another 20 episodes in September 2014.

In October 2015, Nickelodeon announced that the series would be discontinued after the third season.
