Keesha Sharp
Keesha Ulricka Sharp (born June 9, 1973 in New York City , New York ) is an American actress .
Life and accomplishments
Sharp graduated from the Boston Conservatory . She made her debut in an episode of the 2000 television series Welcome to New York . Since 2002, she has starred in 40 episodes of the television series Girlfriends , most recently in an episode from 2008. She plays the role of Monica Charles Brooks in the series , the fiancé of William Dent .
Sharp has appeared in numerous plays. For her role in Thunder Knockin '... she won the Actress of the Year Award . She was nominated for the Audelco Award for the role in Living in the Wind . She played alongside Nathan Lane in the musical The Producers .
