Nick at Nite (stylized as nick @ nite ) is the evening program block of the US broadcaster Nickelodeon , which runs from Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Eastern and Pacific Time sends. In contrast to the daily program, Nick at Nite shows programs that are more aimed at adults. Mainly older, purchased series (sitcoms) are shown. Since 2012, the station has also been showing sitcoms it has produced itself, namely See Dad Run and Instant Mom .

On July 1, 1985 Nick at nite started on Nickelodeon in the USA at 8:00 p.m. The actually planned broadcast time from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (seven days a week) was filled with old, successful sitcoms.
10th birthday
In 1995 Nick celebrated his 10th birthday at nite. Hand-picked episodes from all sitcoms in the program block were shown over the course of the week .
today
To this day, Nick at nite is a very popular program block on the broadcaster. On September 28, 2009 the logo of the program block was renewed.

In November 2006, the SpongeBob SquarePants Special, Best Day Ever, aired. It was a 24 hour marathon and Spongebob could also be seen playing Nick at nite.

Nick at nite was planned in England but never started.
Germany
In Germany, the program window Nick after eight was broadcast in 2008 , which was aimed primarily at families. It was discontinued in late 2008, after which Nick shared the channel with Comedy Central . On October 1, 2014, Nicknight started a program block that also shows the sitcoms it produced itself, but appeals to a different target group than Nick at Nite.
Netherlands
Nick started at nite in the Netherlands , but only aired for a few months. In 2004 operations were stopped. Since then, Nickelodeon has shared a slot with The Box (later Comedy Central ). The program block has been broadcasting TeenNick since February 14, 2011.
Latin America
Since February 2006, Nick at nite can be seen on Nickelodeon Latin America from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am on the weekend.
Japan
Nick at nite has existed on Nickelodeon Japan since August 2008. Unlike in other countries, Drake & Josh also runs here.
India
Nick at nite started here on July 28th, 2008.
South East Asia
In Southeast Asia, Nick at Nite runs every weekday from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Russia
In Russia, Nick at nite starts at 9:30 p.m. Moscow time every night with series such as Drake & Josh , True Jackson and Unfabulous .
