Matti Klemm

Matti Klemm (born May 27, 1975 in Leipzig ) is a German television, radio and voice actor . Klemm is best known as the voice of the television station Kabel1 and as the voice of the presenter of the soccer world championships and European championships on ARD and ZDF .

Life

Matti Klemm is the son of the Leipzig painter and graphic artist Matthias Klemm .

During his Abitur (1994), Klemm gained his first radio experience as a freelancer at the public broadcaster MDR Sputnik . Since then he has been taking private acting lessons. In 1996 he moved to a journalist's office in Berlin, where he produced music for ARD radio stations . In 1998 he was offered his own radio broadcast on the Munich private broadcaster Radio Xanadu . This was followed by a program on Energy Munich , which he presented until 2002. From 2001 to 2005, Klemm moderated the program MTV-Videoclash for the music channel MTV . Furthermore, he has been the national station voice of the youth broadcaster NRJ-Germany since 2003.

Since 2006 he has also been working as a voice actor; mostly in Berlin. After initially smaller episode roles, larger roles and leading roles in series and movies followed. He speaks King Mufasa in "The Lion King" 2019 and is the voice of Oscar winner Mahershala Ali ( Green Book , Hunger Games ), Jason Momoa ( Aquaman ) and Jason Winston George ( Grey's Anatomy ).

He can be heard regularly in documentaries and reports. For years he spoke the “Droemer-Knaur Krimi-Podcast” for Weltbildverlag and is also the voice of many advertising campaigns, including for Ferrero Rocher and Laura Biagiotti.

He has been married to the actress Loretta Stern since 2008 and lives with his family in Berlin.
