content

Most of the people in the world are born with super powers. Everyone receives a different power and the powers are used for good and bad, so that there is constant fighting between superheroes and super villains. The heroes, whose skills are called “quirks” ( 個性 , kosei , in the anime in German: “specialties”), are trained in special schools. Middle school student Izuku Midoriya ( 緑谷 出 久 ) would also like to become a superhero, but he belongs to the 20% of people without such skills. When he protects another child from a villain, he meets the most famous of all superheroes: All Might. This gives him his strength (by taking one of his hairs), which gets stronger the more you get. She gives Izuku great physical strength. However, he can hardly control them at first. But he can now follow his dream and go to the hero high school UA High School ( 雄 英 高校 , Yūei Kōkō ). This is where his competitor Katsuki, his girlfriend Ochako and the class representative Tenya appear. The son of the hero Endeavor, Shōto, only uses his ice attacks (he also has fire attacks), but becomes another competitor of Izuku. After Izuku lost his fight against Shōto, he is taught by Gran Torino, who is the master of All Might. But Tenya's brother is badly wounded in a fight with Stain, the murderer of the hero, and Izuku and Shōto rush to the aid of their friend. Together they succeed in defeating Stain, but the feat is, for the public, ascribed to Endeavor.

Anime

Directed by Kenji Nagasaki , Studio Bones made an anime adaptation of the series for television in 2016 . The main author was Yosuke Kuroda . The character design comes from Yoshihiko Umakoshi and the artistic directors were Shigemi Ikeda and Yukiko Maruyama from Atelier Musa.

The first broadcast of the 13 episode long first season took place from April 3 to June 26, 2016 on MBS in Japan. Animax Asia showed an English dubbed version and Funimation Entertainment made the series available via streaming with English subtitles. In the same way, a French subtitle version appeared on Anime Digital Network , an Italian on VVVVID and a German on AkibaPass and Anime on Demand . The publisher Kazé Anime has announced that it will publish the first season from March 30, 2018 in three volumes with 5 or 4 episodes each. The first episode was first published on March 14, 2018 on Anime on Demand with German synchronization. In 2019, when the second season of Kazé was released, the season received a slipcase that is offered in its own online shop and at conventions.

The second season premiered on ytv from April 1 to September 30, 2017 and contains a total of 25 episodes. A week earlier, on March 25, 2017, a flashback episode was broadcast that retold the plot of the first season. In German, the second season, like the first in Anime on Demand, will be made available with subtitles. Kazé released the 2019 season synchronized in German in five volumes and a slipcase.

The third season first aired from April 7th to September 29th, 2018 and comprises another 25 episodes. A German subtitled version appeared shortly after the Japanese broadcast on Anime on Demand.

An anime feature film opened in Japanese cinemas on August 3, 2018, and had its world premiere on July 5, 2018 at the Anime Expo 2018 in Los Angeles , California . A second movie has been announced for winter 2019/2020. It was released in Japanese cinemas on December 20, 2019 with the subtitle HEROES: RISING .

Before the end of the third season, the Weekly Shonen Jump announced that a fourth season would be produced. The announcement also followed the last episode of the season, but without a start date. The broadcast began on October 12, 2019 in Japan and Anime on Demand provides the episodes with German subtitles on the same day. The season ended on April 4, 2020 with a reference to another season.

The German premiere of the series on ProSieben Maxx took place from June 26, 2020 to August 14, 2020. Here the first two seasons were broadcast.
