miwa (born June 15, 1990 in Hayama ) is a Japanese singer-songwriter .

Life

Miwa was born in Hayama, Japan. She is a singer-songwriter in the genre of J-pop and rock music. She sings and plays guitar and piano. Since 2010 she has been under contract with Sony Music Entertainment Japan .

She started her live activities in 2008. On March 3rd, 2010 her debut single Dont cry anymore was released . Her first album Guitarissimo was released on April 6, 2011, her album Guitarium on March 14, 2012 and the album Delight on May 22, 2013 .
