Frontier is a Canadian history - Drama Series by Brad Peyton and Rob and Peter Blackie about unscrupulous hunters and fur traders Declan Harp, who in the 18th century the North American fur trade was involved. It premiered on November 6, 2016 on the Canadian Discovery Channel . On January 20, 2017, the first season outside Canada was released on the video-on-demand service Netflix . The second season also appeared on Netflix on November 24, 2017. In September 2017, the series was extended by a third season, which has been on Netflix since November 23, 2018.

The son of an Irishman and an Indian woman Harp leads his own campaign of revenge against a high official of the Hudson's Bay Company and the accompanying English soldiers. His origins give Harp access to Indian skins and he tries to outdo the English competition. The French, Americans and Scots are also trying to get involved in the highly competitive market.
A young Irishman who came to the new world as a stowaway runs over to Declan Harp and supports him in his plan.
