Dompcevrin is a French commune in the department of Meuse in the region of Grand Est (2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Commercy and the canton Dieue-sur-Meuse (until 2015: canton Pierrefitte-sur-Aire ). The municipality has 309 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017), who are called Dompcevrinois .
geography
Dompcevrin is located about 25 kilometers south-southeast of Verdun on the Meuse (French: Meuse ), which borders the municipality in the east. Dompcevrin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bannoncourt in the north and north-east, Maizey in the east, Les Paroches in the south and south-east and Lahameix in the west and north-west.
