Richecourt is a French commune with 59 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Commercy and the canton of Saint-Mihiel . The inhabitants are called Richecourtois .

geography

Richecourt is located about 42 kilometers south-southeast of Verdun . The municipality is part of the Lorraine Regional Nature Park at Lac de Madine . Richecourt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nonsard-Lamarche in the north, Pannes in the northeast, Lahayville in the east, Seicheprey in the southeast, Xivray-et-Marvoisin in the south and southwest, Montsec in the west and Buxières-sous-les-Côtes in the northwest.
