Dainville-Bertheléville is a French commune in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Commercy and the canton of Ligny-en-Barrois (until 2015: canton of Gondrecourt-le-Château ).

Dainville-Bertheléville is the southernmost municipality in the Meuse department. It is located around ten kilometers south of Gondrecourt-le-Château and 7.5 kilometers north of Grand .

history

Dainville was called "Donavilla", "Denvilla", "Danivillia" or "Dainville-aux-Forges" depending on the era. On July 15, 1876, it merged with Bertheléville into a single municipality.
