Void-Vacon is a French commune with 1639 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Commercy and until 2015 was the capital of the canton of the same name Void-Vacon , since then the municipality has belonged to the canton of Vaucouleurs . The municipality of Void-Vacon was created in 1972 by merging the municipalities of Void and Vacon.
Neighboring municipalities of Void-Vacon are Sorcy-Saint-Martin in the north, Troussey in the northeast, Pagny-sur-Meuse in the east, Ourches-sur-Meuse and Vaucouleurs in the southeast, Sauvoy in the south, Broussey-en-Blois in the southwest, Ménil- la-Horgne and Naives-en-Blois to the west and Laneuville-au-Rupt to the northwest.
