Hévilliers is a French commune with 146 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region (before 2016 Lorraine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Bar-le-Duc , to the canton of Ligny-en-Barrois (until 2015 Montiers-sur-Saulx ) and to the municipality of Portes de Meuse .

Hévilliers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Dammarie-sur-Saulx in the west, Villers-le-Sec in the northwest, Nantois in the north, Naix-aux-Forges in the northeast, Tréveray in the east, Biencourt-sur-Orge in the southeast, Couvertpuis in the south as well Morley in the southwest.
