The canton of Bar-le-Duc-2 is a French constituency in the Bar-le-Duc arrondissement , in the Meuse department and in the Grand Est region ( Lorraine until the end of 2015 ). The main town of the canton is the municipality of Bar-le-Duc .

history

The canton was created when the French cantons were redistributed in 2015. Its communes come from the previous cantons of Vavincourt (3 communes) and Bar-le-Duc-Nord (1 commune).

location

The canton is located in the southwest of the Meuse department.

In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the five voting pairs achieved an absolute majority.
