The place with 372 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) is located in the Regional Nature Park Vexin français and lies above the southern bank of the Aubette . Ambleville is seven kilometers from Magny-en-Vexin , eleven kilometers from La Roche-Guyon and about 60 kilometers from Paris .

• Church Immaculée-Conception ( Immaculate Conception ), built in 1861
• Ambleville Castle ( Monument historique ), from the time of Charles IX. It was built by Jean Grappin for the de Mornay family. In the 17th century it was enlarged and an Italian garden was added.
