Ambleville is a French commune in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region Ile-de-France . The residents call themselves Amblevillois or Amblevilloises .
geography
The place with 372 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) is located in the Regional Nature Park Vexin français and lies above the southern bank of the Aubette . Ambleville is seven kilometers from Magny-en-Vexin , eleven kilometers from La Roche-Guyon and about 60 kilometers from Paris .

The coat of arms was taken over from the previous local rule , the de Mornay family. It shows a lion with a gold crown on a white and red striped background.

- Ambleville Castle ( Monument historique ), from the time of Charles IX. It was built by Jean Grappin for the de Mornay family. In the 17th century it was enlarged and an Italian garden was added.
