Courdimanche is a French municipality with 6681 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France . It is located on the northwestern periphery of Paris . Courdimanche is part of the Pontoise arrondissement and the Vauréal canton . The inhabitants are called Courdimanchois (es) .
Courdimanche is about 38 kilometers northwest of Paris .
The neighboring municipalities of Courdimanche are Puiseux-Pontoise in the north, Cergy-Pontoise in the northeast, Vauréal in the east and southeast, Boisemont in the south, Menucourt in the southwest and Sagy in the west.
In the northeast was the former amusement park Mirapolis , which only existed from 1987 to 1991. The site is largely fallow.
Today's municipal area was already settled in the Neolithic Age. The Gallic oppidum was a cult place of druids; here the Romans built a temple of Apollo.
