Courdimanche-sur-Essonne is a French municipality with 267 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement Évry and the canton Mennecy (until 2015: canton Milly-la-Forêt ). The inhabitants are called Courdimanchois .
geography
Courdimanche-sur-Essonne is located about 49 kilometers south of Paris on the Essonne River , which forms the eastern municipal boundary. The municipality is located in the Gâtinais français Regional Nature Park . Courdimanche-sur-Essonne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Vayres-sur-Essonne in the north, Boutigny-sur-Essonne in the east and north-east, Maisse in the south and Valpuiseaux in the west and south-west.
