Ormoy is a commune with 2,046 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Evry and is part of the canton of Mennecy . The inhabitants are called Ulméens .

geography

Ormoy is located about 32 kilometers south-east of Paris in the Hurepoix region on the Essonne , which borders the municipality in the north. Ormoy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villabé in the north, Corbeil-Essonnes in the northeast, Le Coudray-Montceaux in the south and east and Mennecy in the south and west.

The A6 autoroute runs through the municipality .
