Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil is a French municipality with 7493 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Évry and is the main town ( chef-lieu ) of the canton Draveil . The inhabitants are called Saint-Germinois .

Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil lies on the Seine . Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Étiolles in the north, Tigery in the north-east, Saint-Pierre-du-Perray in the east and south and Corbeil-Essonnes in the south-west and west.

The Francilienne runs through the municipality . A small part of the Forêt de Sénart is located in the municipality.
