Chevannes is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Mennecy in the north, Le Coudray-Montceaux in the northeast, Auvernaux in the east, Champcueil in the south, Ballancourt-sur-Essonne in the west and southwest and Fontenay-le-Vicomte in the west and northwest.
