Étiolles is a French municipality with 3161 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Évry and is part of the canton of Draveil . The inhabitants are called Étiollais .

geography

Étiolles is located on the Seine about 27 kilometers southeast of Paris . Étiolles is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Soisy-sur-Seine in the north and northwest, Quincy-sous-Sénart in the northeast, Tigery in the east, Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil in the southeast, Corbeil-Essonnes in the south and Évry in the west and northwest.

Part of the Forêt de Sénart forest area is located in the municipality.
