Champcueil is a commune with 2,867 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Evry and is part of the canton of Mennecy . The inhabitants are called Champcueillois .
geography
Champcueil is located about 39 kilometers southeast of Paris. The municipality is located in the Gâtinais français Regional Nature Park . In the north, the town is Chevannes limited, in the northeast of Auvernaux , the east and southeast by Nainville-les-Roches , in the south and southeast by Soisy-sur-Ecole , in the southwest of Mondeville and Baulne and to the west by sur- Ballancourt- Essonne .
