Bondoufle is a French commune with 9538 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the canton of Ris-Orangis in the arrondissement of Évry in the department of Essonne and in the region of Île-de-France . It is located about 25 kilometers south of Paris and four kilometers west of Évry .

The Seine flows east six kilometers away. The Essonne , a tributary of the Seine, runs southeast four kilometers away.

Population development

The population of Bondoufle increased from about 300 (1968) to about 9100 (1982) in the 1970s. Today it is around 9150.
