Oncy-sur-École is a French commune with 1,038 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Essonne in the region of Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement Évry and the canton Mennecy (until 2015: canton Milly-la-Forêt ). The inhabitants are called Oncéens .

Oncy-sur-École is located about 52 kilometers south-southeast of Paris on the École River . The municipality is located in the Gâtinais français Regional Nature Park . Oncy-sur-École is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Milly-la-Forêt in the north and west, Noisy-sur-École in the south and east, Tousson in the south and south-west and Buno-Bonnevaux in the west and south-west.
