Radio Ramasuri is a private radio broadcaster based in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate , Bavaria . The company operates under the official name of Radio Ramasuri Rundfunk-Programm GmbH & Co. KG. In addition to Radio Ramasuri, the youth radio Radio Galaxy (City Amberg / Weiden) is also operated. The name Ramasuri comes from Bavarian and translates as "mess".

Radio Ramasuri broadcasts from the mayor's house at Unteren Markt 35, which is in the old town of Weiden.

Radio Ramasuri started broadcasting on January 13, 1990 in Weiden - the first track to be broadcast was You can't hurry love by Phil Collins. Radio Ramasuri was a youth radio station until 1992, before the company changed its format and until 2002 broadcast mostly German-language pop music. Another format change took place in 2002: Oldie based AC - a music mix of titles from the 1960s to 1990s and current hits. Today the format is tending towards “Current based AC” (mainly current music titles, expanded with pieces from the 1970s to 1990s).

The Radio Ramasuri morning pint on Sunday mornings between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. includes a one-hour talk show with prominent guests from the fields of comedy, politics, music, film, television and sports.
Ramasuri Country
Ramasuri Country Time is on Saturdays from 6pm to 8pm. Radio Ramasuri is one of the few European radio stations that are members of both the American and the Canadian Country Music Association . The show will be moderated by Bruno Wilfarth, member of "Former Texas Rangers"
Radio Ramasuri pick-me-up
Radio Ramasuri Muntermacher, a morning show from Monday to Saturday between 5.30 and 10 a.m. contains surveys of what people in Upper Palatinate are talking about and information from lifestyle and the boulevard. On Saturday there is a summary of the highlights of the week.

Since January 1, 2005, the company has been operating Radio Galaxy for the cities of Amberg and Weiden . Between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. the program from Weiden is broadcast on the frequencies 89.8 MHz (Weiden) and 105.5 MHz (Amberg).
