Cormeilles-en-Vexin is 36 kilometers north of Paris . It is located in the Vexin français Regional Nature Park .

Neighboring municipalities of Cormeilles-en-Vexin are Bréançon in the north, Grisy-les-Plâtres in the east, Boissy-l'Aillerie and Génicourt in the southeast, Montgeroult in the south, Ableiges in the southwest and Frémécourt in the west.

history

Gallo-Roman finds attest to an early settlement of the place. Cormeilles-en-Vexin belonged to a seugneuria in the 10th century . The castle was destroyed by the Normans in 949 .
