Hérouville-en-Vexin is a French municipality with 605 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pontoise and the canton of Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône (until 2015: canton of La Vallée-du-Sausseron ). The inhabitants are called Hérouvillois .

The municipality, originally called Hérouville , changed its name to the current name of Hérouville-en-Vexin by decree N ° 2017-1744 of December 22, 2017 .

location

The municipality is located about 31 kilometers north-north-west of Paris in the Vexin countryside . The municipality is part of the Vexin français Regional Nature Park . Hérouville is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Labbeville in the north, Nesles-la-Vallée in the northeast, Auvers-sur-Oise in the south and east, Ennery in the south and southwest, Livilliers in the west and Vallangoujard in the northwest.
