Béthemont-la-Forêt is a commune with 414 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Pontoise and the Canton of Domont (until 2015: Canton Taverny ). The inhabitants are called Béthemontois .
geography
Béthemont-la-Forêt is located about 25 kilometers north-northwest of Paris . Béthemont-la-Forêt is surrounded by the neighboring communities Villiers-Adam in the north and west, Chauvry in the east and Taverny in the south and south-west. Route nationale 104 (the so-called Francilienne ) runs through the north of the municipality .
