Moussy is a French commune with 130 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Val-d'Oise department of the Île-de-France region ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Pontoise and the Canton of Pontoise . The inhabitants call themselves Moussyacois or Moussyacoises .

Moussy is located 43 kilometers north of Paris . It is located in the Vexin français Regional Nature Park .
Moussy's neighbors are Le Bellay-en-Vexin in the north-west, Chars in the north, Brignancourt in the north-east, Santeuil in the south-east, Le Perchay in the south and Commeny in the south-west.
history
Finds from prehistory attest to early settlement in the area of Moussy.
The village often changed its name, as the respective landlord wanted. It was called Moussy-le-Perreux from 1205 to 1524, then Moussy-le-Bergerot or Moussy-Barjot. In the 18th century it was called Moussy-Duquesnoy when Pierre-Louis Casimir Duquesnoy de Vaulouis was Seigneur .
