Helmar Dengscherz

Helmar Dengscherz (born January 4, 1931 in Pabianitz (today: Pabianice in Poland ), † June 12, 2006 ) was a German teacher and politician ( SPD ).

Life

Dengscherz attended elementary school and high school in Pabianitz. After studying at the Amberg and Schwabach teacher training institutes, he passed the teaching examination in 1953 and became a teacher in the rural districts of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen and Uffenheim. Then he was a senior teacher at the elementary school in Bad Windsheim until 1995 .

From 1974 he was deputy state chairman of the workers 'welfare in Bavaria and a member of the federal executive committee of the workers' welfare. Before that, he had been chairman of the Upper and Middle Franconia District Association of the Workers' Welfare Association since 1970.

From 1960 to 1972 he was a member of the district council of the Uffenheim district . After the district 1 July 1972 in the course of administrative reform in Bavaria together with the district Scheinfeld the district of Neustadt an der Aisch was slammed, Dengscherz was a member of the district council. From 1972 he sat for the SPD in the city council of Bad Windsheim. Until 1996 Dengscherz acted as the city's school clerk. In 1996 he moved to the office of 3rd Mayor of Bad Windsheim.

From October 25, 1978 to December 31, 1981, and from January 1, 1984 to December 31, 1989, he was a member of the Bavarian Senate as a representative of charities .

In December 2004 he received the Cross of Merit 1st Class of the Federal Republic of Germany for his work in local politics and his work in the workers' welfare organization.
