Berthold von Altingen (around 1393) was a knight in Altingen .

Document mentions

On February 9, 1350 Edelknecht Berthold von Altingen granted the Count Palatine Rudolf the Scheerer the repurchase of the valid from the lay tithe in Haslach , which he had sold to him, within four years.

Ritter Berthold of Altingen gave the monastery Bebenhausen for its Pitanz 1½ acre vineyard on Österberg in Tübingen , from which the Convention on the founder's funeral should be provided with wine annually. In the event of failure, this wine quantity should instead be given to the Tübingen Hospital.

Knight Berthold von Altingen reached an agreement with Abbot Werner and the community of Altingen on the amalgamation of Frühmess prfründen and St. Erhardspfründen to secure the early mass, which was approved by the Constance Vicar General on February 26, 1393. This shows that these benefices e.g. Some were very poorly funded. In addition to the parish in Altingen there were several benefices, e.g. B. at the altars of St. Mary, Nicholas and Erhard, which are only incompletely documented.

family

The lords of Altingen were initially Tübingen and later Hohenberg servants who seem to have lost Altingen ownership very early on.
