Parnes is a French municipality with 341 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes du Vexin Thelle and the canton of Chaumont-en-Vexin .
geography
The municipality is located around five kilometers east of Saint-Clair-sur-Epte on the border of the Val-d'Oise department in the Cudron valley , a ten-kilometer tributary of the Epte . The D509 department road runs through them. Parnes includes the districts of Les Godebins, Aincourt, Caudry and Pierrepont as well as the isolated Alincourt Castle. In the south, the municipality extends to the former Route nationale 14 .
