Chavençon is a French municipality with 172 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes des Sablons and the canton of Chaumont-en-Vexin .
geography
The hamlet of La Mendicité belongs to the municipality in the west of the Buttes de Rosne witness mountain, which was connected to the neighboring municipality of Neuville-Bosc from 1826 to 1833 on the southern border of the department.
