Ivry-le-Temple is a French municipality with 776 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes des Sablons and the canton of Chaumont-en-Vexin .

geography

The community with the districts Treigny, Le Puisard, Lesgniaux and the mill Ferme du Moulin is located on the Merderon, a small tributary of the Troësne ( Canal de Marquemont ), around five kilometers west of Villeneuve-les-Sablons .

history

In Ivry there was a commander of the Knights Templar , which after its dissolution passed to the Johanniter , and in whose place there is now a farm. The former station from 1906, used until 1933, is now used as a residential building.
