Troissereux is a French commune with 1,232 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté d'agglomération du Beauvaisis and the canton of Mouy . The residents are referred to as Tressorien (ne) s .

geography

The municipality with the hamlets of Hussoye-le-Farcy, Hameau du Château and Clos-Saint-Maurice is located on the left (eastern) bank of Thérain , which is accompanied by ponds, on the former Route nationale 1, around six kilometers north of Beauvais . The railway line from Beauvais to Le Tréport runs outside the municipal area on the opposite bank of the Thérain; the former station Troissereux-Fouquenies is no longer served. Beauvais-Tillé Airport is a few kilometers outside of the municipality, but is noticeable through its noise development.

From August 16 to 18, 1944, after a partisan attack, German troops massacred 19 residents of the village.
