Thérines is a French municipality with 202 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes de la Picardie Verte and the canton of Grandvilliers .

geography

The community is located around twelve kilometers southeast of Formerie and seven kilometers north of Songeons on the upper reaches of the Petit Thérain . The hamlets of Le Ply, Montaubert and Epatines belong to it.

history

The castle was destroyed during the Holy League in the last quarter of the 16th century .
