Allonne is a French commune with 1,572 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté d'agglomération du Beauvaisis and des Beauvais-2 .

The community with the districts of Villers-sur-Thère and Bongenoult connects directly to the south-east of Beauvais . The autoroute A16 , the expressway Route nationale 31 , the departmental road D1001 (formerly Route nationale 1 ) and two railway lines run through it .

The burned out airship

On October 5, 1930, the British airship R101 broke down in Allonne and burned out, killing 48 people.
