The community is located on a section of the historic Chaussée Brunehaut around twelve kilometers north of Beauvais .
history
The community was initially under the Abbey of Saint-Lucien (Beauvais) , but later came to the parish of Guignecourt , which was under the cathedral chapter of Saint-Pierre in Beauvais .
