Railway station before the First World War

The community with the districts of Bien Assise, Les Horgnes and Jouy-le-Bois is around eight kilometers south of Auneuil . It was served from 1905 to 1934 by a meter-gauge secondary railway from Méru to Labosse .

Aerial photographs have revealed traces of a Gallo-Roman theater.

The castle and the mill are no longer preserved today.
