Saint-Paul is a French commune with 1,531 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté d'agglomération du Beauvaisis and des Beauvais-2 .
geography
The municipality is located around six kilometers west of Beauvais, mainly on the left (north) bank of the Avelon , into which the Ru de Boyauval stream flows here. A section of the former Route nationale 31 and the disused railway line from Goincourt to Gournay-Ferrières run through the south of the municipality . Saint-Paul includes the hamlets of Boyauval, Sorcy, Malmaison, Le Champ de Taillis, Le Becquet, Le Ply and Les Rouges Eaux. The Parc Saint-Paul amusement park, opened in 1983, is located in the municipality .
