Blacourt is a French municipality with 602 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays de Bray and the canton of Grandvilliers .

geography

The municipality is located around 13 kilometers east of Gournay-en-Bray between the Avelon and the Ruisseau des Raques stream , which flows into the Avelon in the municipality. Blacourt includes the hamlets of Montreuil, Avelon, Élincourt and La Haute Rue . The railway line from Goincourt to Gournay-Ferrières, which ran through the municipality, has been closed (tourist traffic has ceased since 1939) and dismantled.
