Frocourt

Frocourt is a French municipality with 523 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté d'agglomération du Beauvaisis and des Beauvais-2 .

geography

The community with the hamlet of Vessencourt is located on the 11.8 kilometer long Ru de Berneuil stream, a tributary of the Thérain , around six kilometers south of Beauvais . The national route 31 , the southern bypass of Beauvais , which has been developed as an expressway, runs through the municipality .

history

The place is said to have been founded on the site of a Roman villa. The castle from around 1850 is no longer preserved today.
