Énencourt-Léage is a French municipality with 136 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes du Vexin Thelle and the canton of Chaumont-en-Vexin .
geography
The municipality is located about six kilometers northeast of Gisors and eight kilometers northwest of Chaumont-en-Vexin on the Aunette and below the D166 departmental road. The former railway line to Trie-Château has been closed and dismantled.
Toponymy
The place name is derived from the Germanic personal name Herinand, the addition Léage means "moist" (in contrast to Énencourt-le-Sec , the "dry" Énencourt).

Prehistoric finds testify to an ancient settlement. From 1825 to 1832 Villers-sur-Trie was part of the municipality.
