Lachapelle-sous-Gerberoy is a French municipality with 148 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Oise in the region of Hauts-de-France . The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Beauvais and is part of the Communauté de communes de la Picardie Verte and the canton of Grandvilliers .
geography
The community is located east of Gerberoy about two kilometers southeast of Songeons on the right (southern) bank of the Thérain at the confluence of the Tahier brook and the mouth of the Ruisseau de Wambez brook. From 1894 to 1934 the community was served by the railway (meter railway line from Milly-sur-Thérain to Formerie ). The hamlet of Balleux is located on the D930 in the district north of Thérain. .

The castle, built in 1630, was demolished in 1956; Only remnants of the surrounding wall are preserved.
